• MoneyWise is free. There is no account, no subscription and no in-app purchase.
• Everything you record stays on your phone. Keeping a copy of it is up to you.
• MoneyWise helps you keep track of money. It is not a bank, a payment app or financial advice.

Agreeing to these terms

By downloading or using MoneyWise you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. If you downloaded MoneyWise from the App Store, Apple's standard licence terms for apps also apply, alongside these terms.

What MoneyWise does

MoneyWise records your income and expenses on your device. It can read the text of bank and wallet SMS, notifications and screenshots on your phone to suggest a transaction, and nothing is saved until you confirm it. It also offers budgets, bills and reminders, savings goals, reports and CSV export.

MoneyWise does not connect to your bank or wallet, cannot move money, and never asks for account numbers, card numbers, PINs, OTPs or passwords.

Your data and backups

Because MoneyWise has no servers and no accounts, we cannot see, recover or restore your data. If you lose or reset your phone, or uninstall the app, your data may be lost unless it is in your phone's own backup or a CSV file you exported. How the app handles your data is described in the privacy policy.

Accuracy

MoneyWise reads SMS and notifications automatically, and banks change their message formats. A suggested amount, date, account or category can be wrong or missing, which is why you confirm every transaction. Check important figures against your bank or wallet statement. MoneyWise is a record-keeping tool, and its reports and budgets are not financial, tax or legal advice.

Using the app fairly

You may use MoneyWise for your own personal record-keeping. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or tamper with the app, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

Our rights

MoneyWise, its name, design and code belong to Aarambha IT Research Center. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they don't transfer any ownership to you.

Changes and availability

We may update MoneyWise, change or remove features, or stop offering it. If we change these terms, we will update the effective date above, and the new terms apply once published.

No warranty and limits of liability

MoneyWise is provided free and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be error-free or always available, and we are not liable for losses that come from using it, including lost data or decisions made from its figures. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
